Even though Eddie and I teach 3 and 4 year old Sunday School at FBC Leeds, we are still officially in the Adult I Sunday School class. Our class met tonight for a soup and chili fellowship with all of families. I love to get together with all of the people in our class that we might only get to talk to for a quick second on Sunday morning. All of the food was wonderful!! I have to say that my favorite was the homemade chicken noodle soup.
Now, you must understand, Eddie LOVES hot and spicy food. He always spices up his chili with this particular hot sauce called Dave's Insanity Sauce, so he decided to bring it along with him. Most of the guys ended up trying it and almost all of them ended up commenting later that their mouths were on fire. Most of the ladies decided to stay away from it.
All of the kids had a great time playing in the gym with one another. They are great kids and get along wonderfully together. Shelby managed to fall on the gym floor and hit her forehead. She has a nice little bruise right in the middle of it now, but she got over it in about a minute and was out there going full speed again. Gracie had a great time too. She got to run around as much as she wanted to and did have to stop until we had to leave for the night. Needless to say, we all had a good time.
