I've been couponing on and off for about three years, but really putting everything in the practice in the last year. I've tried a couple of different methods to make it as quick as possible. I've cut out just the coupons I wanted each Sunday or ordered just them from Coupon Clippers. I've pulled the whole pages out on Sunday, stored them in my binder and then clipped the ones I need right before I go to the store. I've also just taken everything I have to the store. I think it all depends on what works best for you.
This is what works best for me. I get the Sunday papers and go through the coupon inserts, pulling out the pages that have coupons on them I want. When I'm getting ready to go to the store, I'll pull up my grocery list on Southern Savers and then got through my insert pages. I'll clip just the ones that I need for this trip, but I file the rest of them in the back of my binder (this goes for internet coupons too). I take my binder with me to the store, just in case I remember something that I need that is not on my list. It's the best of both worlds!!
I realize that this may not work for everyone, so I want to hear what works best for you. I'll do a follow-up post on your responses and maybe your method will help someone else.
