What a Monday!!!

Have you ever had one of those days that starts out bad and just keeps going that way throughout the rest of the day? Well, today has been one of those days for me!! Work is stressing me out and I can't seem to make any progress. We have so many projects lined up one behind the other (which is a good problem to have), but we are short one or two people to be able to handle the workload. It's like everyone needs their project done right now and no one likes the answers that I have.

So, I leave work (in the pouring rain nonetheless) heading for the daycare to pick up my beautiful girls. I'm greeted at the door by Gracie running down the hallway to me, screaming "Mommy". This just brightens my day! Her teacher is following right behind her and tells me the good potty training news of the day. Gracie stayed dry all day long and still had the same pull-up on that she wore to school that morning. This is wonderful news, as it means we are making progress in the potty training saga. Her teacher said she had just gone to the potty, so we went to get Shelby and then headed home.

We drove the five minutes that it takes to get to our house with joy and happiness resounding from the backseat. After the stressful day that I've had, this is what I needed to turn the day around. Or at least I thought it would turn it around. We got home and they each wanted to watch a different cartoon. We put "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" on and they started watching it. Five minutes into the cartoon, I found that Gracie is no longer dry. My thoughts ran the gamut, but just ended on frustrated. We've be at the potty training for quite a while now and sometimes I feel like we will never get her completely potty trained. She does great some days and not so great others.

I keep praying that God will give me the answers to help solve these problems, but they haven't come just yet. I know that in His time He will show me the right things to do, but tonight, I'm just praying that tomorrow will be a better day!
